National Geographic Magazine: Arabian Seas
Posted on August 12, 2012
ARABIAN SEAS now published in the March issue of National Geographic Magazine. Shooting this story took me to the shores of 7 countries and into the depths of 3 seas. Arabia’s marine biodiversity is some of the most unusual/vibrant I have encountered, yet it is perched on a precipice of environmental degradation driven by coastal development and overfishing. The region hosts some of the world’s most committed and finest marine conservationists. The support and backing they receive in the coming years will largely decide if Arabia’s seas continue to thrive or die.
